Kerry Harris  

After graduating from McGill University’s Film and Communications program studying under acclaimed National Film Board of Canada documentary filmmaker Tanya Tree, Kerry began his career as the assistant to Miramax co-chairman Bob Weinstein, before becoming Director of Development for Canadian indie powerhouse, Lionsgate Films in Toronto. 

Supervising more than a dozen feature films paved the way for Kerry to relocate Los Angeles and become a writer/director where he developed projects for Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment, Ridley Scott's Scott Free Productions, The Disney Channel, Ben Stiller’s Red Hour and Denise DiNovi Productions among others.

Kerry has just completed production on the feature film DREAMKATCHER for Grindstone Entertainment/Lionsgate and FilmMode which stars Henry Thomas (E.T., THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE), Radha Mitchell (MAN ON FIRE, FINDING NEVERLAND), Lin Shaye (INSIDIOUS, THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY), Finlay Hissong (THE BANANA SPLITS), Jules Willcox (BLOODLINE) and Joe Bishara (THE CONJURING, INSIDIOUS). The film is produced by Orian Williams (CONTROL), Annie Stewart (LEAVING LAS VEGAS) and Christian Taylor (MEASURE OF A MAN).

Kerry is currently developing the television series UNDOCUMENTED with Al Madrigal (THE DAILY SHOW) for Endemol (PEAKY BLINDERS) and a 1980s music-themed series that will star Emmy Award-Winning Maura Tierney (E.R., THE AFFAIR).

Kerry has also directed the comedy web series series :DRYVRS which stars Macaulay Culkin (HOME ALONE), Darren Criss (GLEE), Steven Weber (WINGS), Tom Petty, Jeff Garlin (CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM) and Kevin Pollack (THE USUAL SUSPECTS) and is being distributed by Lorne Michaels' Above Average.
